Program description

WoodGreen’s Youth Mental Health Court Worker Program supports youth who are charged and required to attend court. Services are provided at the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto and within the community, offering flexible hours tailored to the young person’s needs.

This voluntary short-term assessment and planning program works closely with the Community Youth Court, a problem-solving court focused on youth with mental health, addiction, and developmental disability concerns. Youth collaborate with the court team to develop individualized plans addressing mental health, substance use, and the behaviour that led to their involvement with the justice system.

This program was previously run by Turning Point Youth Services, which has now integrated with WoodGreen. Click here to learn more.
