Program description

WoodGreen’s In-Home Intensive Program (IHIP) supports youth and families experiencing more complex mental health, behavioural, or relationship challenges that go beyond what traditional counselling can address. This program offers frequent, hands-on support delivered in the home by a counsellor and/or youth worker, with the goal of improving individual mental health, strengthening family cohesion, and building healthy relationship dynamics.

Each family works collaboratively with staff to create a customized plan and commits to 6 to 9 hours of service per week. By working directly within the home environment, the program helps families develop skills and strategies that can be sustained long term.

This program was previously run by Turning Point Youth Services, which has now integrated with WoodGreen. Click here to learn more.
