Program description

WoodGreen provides an Emergency Shelter for homeless and street-involved male and transgender youth aged 16 to 24 at our 95 Wellesley Street East location. This 35-bed dormitory-style residence offers a safe place to stay while youth work toward longer-term stability.

The shelter is staffed by trained youth workers who provide support and guidance, helping residents connect with mental health services, housing options, employment supports, and other community resources.

Our residence is accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA), and licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.

This program was previously run by Turning Point Youth Services, which has now integrated with WoodGreen. Click here to learn more.
