Employee Giving
Foster a culture of generosity, peer-to-peer engagement, and create meaningful community impact. By hosting a Workplace Giving Campaign, you can integrate fun activities that create a friendly buzz in the organization and build team engagement while supporting the vision and mission of your organization.
Lunch & Learn
Bring your teams together for an engaging Lunch & Learn session. A WoodGreen representative would lead the discussion around the current urgent needs in our community and WoodGreen programs, services, impact and ways everyone can become involved. This session can be delivered as standalone event or incorporated as a part of an event held at your organization.
Matching Gifts
Double your impact through your corporate matching gift program. Promote your organization’s matching gift program to double your employees’ donations to a cause that is close to their heart, while also helping to demonstrate your organization’s commitment to meaningful community impact.
Kitting/Care Packages Event
In-kind donations provide essential items directly to individuals and families in need and create a meaningful and immediate impact. You and your team members can make a difference by hosting a “Kitting/Care Packages Event” offering members the opportunity to donate according to their ability. Kitting events are excellent team-building opportunities, which create tangible, immediate impact in the community.
How it works? Two simple steps to create Greater Impact Together:
Step 1 : Choose a Theme
Connect with us to learn more about urgent community needs and explore a theme that aligns with your organization’s priorities. You can choose care package items based on the needs of seniors, youth, single mothers, or clients participating in our housing, education, or health programs.
Step 2: Plan your Event
Host a donation drive or use an allocated budget to purchase items needed for your care packages. Once the items are collected or purchased, your team can host a kitting event at your workplace, where volunteers sort and assemble the items into individual care packages using large ziploc bags, cloth bags, or baskets.
Once the care packages are assembled, your team can arrange for delivery to the WoodGreen program of your choice, ensuring your collective efforts directly support individuals and families in our community.
