We have a limited number of college and university placements available for students who are preparing to work in the social services sector. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative and impactful programs while working alongside an experienced team.

Our Process
1. Application

2. Police check
Some positions require a police check; this is to ensure the safety and security of our volunteers and clients.
3. Reference check
Please note that we require two references (personal/professional).
Student Placement - Enhancing Seniors Inclusion Program (PBI ref-49)
The Enhancing Seniors Inclusion Grant program funds community-based grassroots initiatives that support the health, wellness, and inclusion of seniors.
Student Placement - Policy Development Assistant
Review existing organizational policies to identify outdated content and recommend revisions.
Student Placement - Business Development Representative - PBI ref-50
Use a variety of tools to discovery assess hiring needs, qualify leads based on target profiles, and support strategic follow-up through tracking objections, lead intent, and program fit.
Student Placement - Seniors Active Living Centres & Outreach
Support SALC (Seniors Active Living Centres) Manager and Program Coordinators with planning, facilitating and evaluating a variety of seniors’ programs.
Student Placement - Administrative Assistant (PBI-ref 40)
Student opportunity to actively support many programs in the whole organization on Administrative tasks.
Student Placement - Data Migration Assistant (PBI-ref34)
Work migrating application information from the old housing application waiting list to the new software and database system.
Student Placement - Rites of Passage Program Assistant (PBI-ref22)
Rites of Passage weekly programming, held in local high schools in Scarborough, weekly-drop in program held weekly, attended by youth in grade 9 through post-secondary
Student Placement - Housing Operations & Community Development - East Toronto (PBI-ref24)
Support Housing staff and facilitate, and encourage engagement of tenants
