We have a limited number of college and university placements available for students who are preparing to work in the social services sector. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative and impactful programs while working alongside an experienced team.

2. Police check
Some positions require a police check; this is to ensure the safety and security of our volunteers and clients.
3. Reference check
Please note that we require two references (personal/professional).
Financial Empowerment Intake Placement Student
Opportunity to develop and deliver Financial Literacy workshops, coordinate and assist in planning special works and events for community groups and external agencies.
Communications Assistant Student (Fall 2024/Winter 2025)
Student opportunity to support the Communications and Marketing team with media relations, social media, and writing for various communications tools for WoodGreen.
Data Migration Analyst
Work migrating application information from the old housing application waiting list to the new software and database system.
Walk-in Counselling Clinic Student
Lend your professional skills as a therapist to help our counselling team meet a critical need for community mental health services.
Rites of Passage Program Assistant Student
Rites of Passage weekly programming, held in local high schools in Scarborough, weekly-drop in program held weekly, attended by youth in grade 9 through post-secondary
Crisis Worker Student - Crisis Outreach Service for Seniors
Crisis work to support counselling, case management and crisis intervention within the department of Crisis Outreach Service for Seniors, Community Care Unit
Career Practitioner Student-Employment Services
Support job coaches at the Employment Services with client service and admin work
Workforce Development Youth Assistant Student
Support with Toronto Youth Job Corps Program.
Program Assistant Student - Senior Active Living Centre & Outreach
Assist the SALCO Manager with program and project planning, execution and monitoring, administrative duties, research for grant proposals.
