Nous proposons un soutien individualisé et des activités de groupe engageantes qui encouragent l’épanouissement social et émotionnel des enfants. Nous proposons également des visites à domicile, des conseils et des groupes de soutien dirigés par des parents ayant une expérience d’éducation d’enfants ayant une déficience intellectuelle.

Ce programme offre deux services de soutien pour les parents des enfants ayant une déficience intellectuelle : le Programme de sensibilisation pour les parents et les Services partagés pour les parents. Veuillez vous joindre à nous pour plus de renseignements sur comment accéder à ces services.
PROGRAMME DE SENSIBILISATION POUR LES PARENTS
Il s’agit d’un programme de formation individualisé afin de promouvoir l’autonomie d’enfants ayant une déficience intellectuelle. Les conseils sont fournis par des visiteurs à domicile; ceux-ci étant parents d’enfants ayant une déficience intellectuelle.
SERVICES PARTAGÉS POUR LES PARENTS
Les parents peuvent participer aux groupes de soutien dirigés par d’autres parents qui ont vécu l’expérience d’éducation d’un enfant ayant une déficience intellectuelle. Ce programme est habituellement proposé au cours de l’année scolaire, de septembre à juin.

Youth Possibilities Project
The Youth Possibilities Project (YPP) is funded by Service Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy. The program is open to youth aged 15 – 30 and offers 4 weeks of paid pre-employment training, followed by a 10-week paid job placement. With support from a job developer, participants explore their career options, secure a placement opportunity in their chosen field and gain valuable work experience and practical skills.
Employment Accessibility Services for Persons with Disabilities Program
This program assists post-secondary students and graduates with disabilities to prepare for, obtain and maintain meaningful employment. Our team aims to reduce disability-related barriers to employment while supporting clients to achieve their goals.
Capability Program
The Capability program supports individuals with disabilities to enhance their employability skills and job prospects. Our team of job coaches and job developers work with clients to prepare for their transition into the labour market
Work Initiative Network (WIN)
This 6-month, part-time employment program is tailored to the needs of clients with mental health issues. Sessions address workplace accommodation, disclosure, stress management and job maintenance, as well as practical job search skills.
Better Jobs Ontario
Better Jobs Ontario (formerly known as Second Career) provides unemployed individuals with financial support and skills training to secure in-demand jobs in their communities.
CNC/Precision Machining Skills Training Program
Delivered in partnership with George Brown College, this free training program is designed to address the challenges faced by women in trades and prepare participants for entry-level work in the manufacturing sector. It includes 14 weeks of CNC training and employability skills training, as well as an 8-week paid job placement.
Building Code Skills Development for Internationally Trained Individuals
Delivered by George Brown College in partnership with WoodGreen, this 20-week skills-training program prepares internationally trained job seekers for the role of Building Official, working in the construction sector or public administration.
Industrial Mechanic Millwright Pre-Apprenticeship Program
This free program equips students with skills related to the millwright trade, which involves installing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing industrial machines. Delivered by George Brown College in partnership with WoodGreen, the program includes trade readiness, employment preparation and academic upgrading.
Visual Effects (VFX) Compositing
This VFX training program is designed to give Black youth a competitive edge as they launch careers in digital compositing. Over 23 weeks, participants gain the knowledge and experience necessary to find post-production work. Training includes a six-week paid internship.
Toronto Youth Job Corps Case Counselling
Our team provides Toronto Youth Job Corps participants with case management support to address life challenges affecting their program engagement.

This location has 17 units and offers independent living for single occupants.
Wellesley Central Residences
Operated in partnership with Fife House, this site has 112 mixed units and offers supportive housing for Fife House clients living with HIV/AIDS and frail seniors receiving WoodGreen assisted living services. It also hosts an 11-unit transitional housing program for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and working toward permanent housing.
Meals on Wheels
Our team delivers hot and frozen meals to seniors and adults living with disabilities. We also provide at-home security and wellness checks and help with accessing local services.

Promoting health and wellbeing for caregivers through individual counselling and group support.
First Step to Home
A transitional housing program for men 55+ with a history of homelessness and mental health or addictions issues. We provide safe housing and wrap-around supports to help clients build new skills and recreate a sense of community.

Our programs connect adults with developmental disabilities to financial services, affordable housing, medical care, recreational activities and life skills training.

Walk-In Counselling (WIC)
WoodGreen’s registered social workers and staff offer free single session counselling to address issues such as anxiety, depression, anger management and relationship challenges, and discuss strategies for positive change.
Counseling and Support Services (CSS)
We offer clinical and therapeutic counselling, case management and group support services to individuals experiencing mental health, substance use and other challenges. Longer-term services (up to two years) are available, depending on client needs.
Comprehensive Care and Integration Specialist (CCIS) Team
Our team of clinical social workers provide a comprehensive approach to care for clients with complex health and psychosocial needs. We work to fill the gaps in care by connecting clients to essential services, coordinating follow-up care, and providing case management and counselling.
