Building description

800 Vaughan Rd (Homes for Good) is a supportive housing program within St. Hilda’s Seniors Community, managed by WoodGreen Community Services, offering 78 units for seniors 59+. On-site psychosocial and primary care supports include intensive case management, harm reduction, supportive counselling, pest control/hoarding support, food access, recreation, PSW support, and 24-hour staffing. External referrals provide additional support.

 

On-site personal support:
Residents have access to a 24/7 staff support in this location.

 

Other support services at this location:

  • Connecting residents to trusted local agencies for health care, housing, legal aid, and employment
  • Support for rent or housing challenges, including referrals, advice, and financial assistance
  • One-on-one assistance to access services, set goals, and manage daily challenges
  • Help with home safety, including clutter organisation and pest control connections
  • Trained staff who can assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication
  • Space and support for faith practices and cultural traditions
  • Immediate crisis support for mental health, violence, or personal emergencies
  • Social and recreational activities like fitness, games, and community events for older adults

Expression of Interest

 

  • Seniors 59+
  • Proof of income required (NOA & 2 latest monthly income stubs or bank statements)
  • To qualify for an affordable rental unit, an applicant’s household annual gross income cannot exceed four times the annual rent of the unit they are applying for. (Please review the form for more information about the units)
  • If more than one adult is applying then both incomes will be used to determine the eligibility
  • First & last month’s rent required before moving in
  • Tenant insurance is mandatory
