Building description

Cedarvale Ave. offers 59 permanent housing units to seniors experiencing poverty, unhoused, or precariously housed situations.

 

The facility provides 24/7 support and staffing and individual mental health and financial counselling, in addition to WoodGreen’s existing east-end services.

 

On-site personal support:
Residents have access to a 24/7 staff support.

 

Other support services available at this location:

  • Connecting residents to trusted local agencies for health care, housing, legal aid, or employment
  • Support with rent or housing challenges, including referrals, advice, and financial assistance
  • Nutritious meals provided daily to support health and well-being
  • One-on-one support to access services, set goals, and manage daily challenges
  • Assistance with clutter and pest control to help keep your home safe and comfortable
  • Trained staff who help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or taking medication
  • Social and recreational activities for older adults, including fitness classes, games, and community events
  • Space and support for practising your faith and honouring your cultural traditions
  • Immediate crisis support for mental health, violence, or personal emergencies
