Have you ever thought about making a real impact on the lives of seniors in Toronto? Well, look no further – welcome to the Community Active Response for Elder Support (CARES) Project.

We’re a bunch of passionate volunteers on a mission to ensure our seniors age with dignity and independence at home. And we need more caring people, like you, to join our team and make a difference.

Help seniors in your community to thrive!

CARES is all about providing personalized and practical support to seniors, especially those from diverse backgrounds, individuals with physical disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. We’re not just looking for volunteers; we’re looking for everyday heroes who want to be a part of something special. As a CARES volunteer, you’ll be the bridge that connects our seniors to a community of support and companionship.

Our goal? Empower 300 seniors to age safely at home over the next two years, and we need your help to make it happen. By joining CARES, you will be part of a dynamic team of 50 volunteers from East and Mid-West Toronto, who are making a positive impact on the lives of seniors. All our roles are fun, flexible, and fulfilling.
