Corporate Groups

The Corporate Volunteer Program gives your group an opportunity to make a difference in your community and gain a greater understanding of some of the critical social issues in Toronto. Our corporate volunteer opportunities will offer an excellent team building experience and allow groups to make a positive impact on their community.

As a community social services organization, we recognize the need to help students gain the practical knowledge and skills necessary to become social service professionals to continue our work in the community. WoodGreen offers a limited number of college and university placements to students who are studying to work in this sector.

Volunteer Spotlights

Volunteer Spotlight: Darrell

Darrell is a volunteer with WoodGreen’s Community Connections program. For the last 4 years, Darrell has dedicated his efforts to help internationally-trained professionals and new Canadians find meaningful employment. Since COVID-19 forced the suspension of many in-person services, Darrell has designed and delivered virtual events for newcomers to practice their networking and language skills. He also continues to lead, design and deliver panel workshops on Canadian workplace best practices, featuring incredible experts who were once newcomers themselves.
