WoodGreen Grassroots Grant Application and Guideline 2021-2022
We are happy to announce that the call for proposals for Enhancing Social Inclusion in Ethno-Cultural and Diverse Communities Grant 2021 – 2022 is now open.

This year, Enhancing Social Inclusion in Ethno-Cultural and Diverse Communities program is supporting projects designed to improve the ability to serve ethno-cultural seniors during the COVID-19 crises by fostering initiatives that increase social inclusion, health and wellness. All community-based projects are eligible to receive up to $14,000 in funding for the May 2021 to March 2022 period and must develop initiatives that provide opportunities to reduce social isolation and meet at least one of the key priorities outlined in the Application Guidelines.

Eligible Applicants are unincorporated or incorporated non-profit grassroots or community-based organizations located in the Mid-East and East Toronto subregions.

Crisis Outreach Service for Seniors

This program provides on-call mobile crisis intervention and outreach service for older adults (65+ years) with dementia, addictions or mental illness who need temporary, short-term support.

Referrals can be made by calling the Toronto Seniors Helpline at 416-217-2077.
Developmental Services for Adults and Children

This program offers supports individuals living with a developmental disability and their families by providing opportunities for them to participate fully in their community.

First Step to Home provides wrap-around supports for men who have been street involved and are experiencing mental health or addictions issues.
