WoodGreen’s Newcomer Programs and Services is launching a new cohort of the Early Childhood Education Diploma Program for Newcomers, delivered in partnership with George Brown Polytechnic.
This Program will provide participants with:
- English proficiency required for admission
- 2-year tuition-free Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from George Brown Polytechnic
- Industry work experience – 4 unpaid co-op placements
- Individual settlement support, career coaching, and mentorship

- In-person
Eligibility:
- 18 years or older
- Newcomer to Canada (Permanent Resident, Protected Person/Convention Refugee, or Naturalized Citizen – under 5 years)
- English Language proficiency of CLB 6 across all skills or IELTS 5.5 equivalency
Program Dates:
- From May 2026 to December 2028
