WoodGreen’s Income Tax Clinic operates in partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). We provide free, in-person and remote tax filing services to people from diverse backgrounds and circumstances, including seniors, newcomers, people living with disabilities, caregivers, youth and individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.
Our volunteers work directly with clients to prepare their tax returns, answer questions, and help them understand the benefits and credits they may be eligible for, making the tax-filing process easier to navigate.
We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support from experienced staff and lead volunteers, so you will have guidance as you learn. We offer tax services in person and remotely, helping make free tax support more accessible across our community.
Applications are now open for the upcoming tax season. You will be contacted in November to schedule an interview.
