Eligibility: 18+ years and working towards at least a Bachelor's in Social Sciences (ex. Social Work, Psychology, etc.) or Diploma/Post-Graduate Certificate (ex. Mental Health and Addictions, Social Service Worker, Child and Youth Care.)

About the position

In this position as a Program Support Assistant you will:

  • Manage and maintain counselling waitlist
  • Complete intakes for group programs and other programs under the Mental Health, Addictions, and Developmental Services portfolio
  • Enter and manage client data in internal systems while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy
  • Support referrals to appropriate programs or external services when needed
  • Ability to execute general administrative tasks (ex. record-keeping, filing)
  • Shadow group therapy sessions and client consultations for counselling programs

 

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry
  • Putting together tenant programs
  • Tenant file organization
  • Tenant feedback forms
  • File organization

 

You must be:

  • Working towards at least a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences (ex. Social Work, Psychology, etc.) or Diploma/Post-Graduate Certificate (ex. Mental Health and Addictions, Social Service Worker, Child and Youth Care.)

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Comfortable with making client calls, Microsoft Office 365, client-centred communication (oral and written), anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens
  • Experience with completing intakes is an asset
  • Able to work independently

 

Shift hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM plus occasional evenings if interested in evening programming (with flexed hours)

 

Commitment:

  • 3-month commitment |14 hours per week
