The Event Management Support Placement Student will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate volunteer engagement events across WoodGreen. This placement offers practical experience in event planning, stakeholder engagement, volunteer management, and program development within a growing corporate volunteering initiative.
Responsibilities
• Support event planning and preparation for corporate volunteering activities.
• Assist with event logistics, coordination, and communications.
• Support day-of-event management and execution.
• Assist with volunteer engagement and participant coordination activities.
• Support the development and implementation of operational best practices for the corporate volunteering program.
• Assist with post-event follow-up and evaluation activities.
You Must Be
• High school diploma required.
• Educational background, coursework, or demonstrated interest in event management is preferred.
• Ability to commit to the placement schedule.

Shift Hours
• Hybrid placement.
• Standard business hours, approximately 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Additional event-based scheduling may be required.
Commitment
• 140 placement hours.
• Approximately 14 weeks at 1–2 days per week.
