The Placement Student will support clinical and therapeutic counselling, case management and group support services to individuals experiencing mental health, substance use and other challenges.

Responsabilities

• Conduct counseling sessions under supervisor for CSS clients navigating complex mental health cases
• Provide case management support to existing CSS clients Assist with intakes for CSS clients and group intake sessions
• Shadow the group facilitator for group sessions. (Please note that the role is predominantly clinical in nature so the student needs to have some prior counseling experience).

You must be:

• Had prior counseling experience and case management experience
• Experience with client-facing work- child and youth counseling, family counseling etc
• MSW- first year minimum

• Communication, teamwork, adaptability, and basic technical skills.

Commitment:

• 450 hours minimum
• 3 Days a week (15-20 hours) Flexible Timing
