About the Job

Restoration Aid is seeking a dedicated and reliable Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various duties both on job sites and within the warehouse,
ensuring efficient and effective restoration operations. From loading vehicles with supplies to conducting field assessments and maintaining equipment, the Restoration Technician plays a crucial role in our restoration projects.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
As a Technician at Restoration Aid, you will:
 
● General duties include loading vehicles with supplies and equipment, driving to job sites, setting up equipment, performing water extraction, drywall cutting, flooring removal,
debris removal, setting up containment, cleaning affected areas, and more as required by the scope of restoration work.
● Act as a representative of Restoration Aid on job sites, ensuring all employees and subcontractors adhere to company standards and project requirements.
● Conduct field assessments, take detailed notes, and provide daily communication to the Project Manager regarding job status, completed work, remaining tasks, and any issues or
concerns.
● Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, assist with equipment cleaning
and maintenance, manage inventory of supplies, and coordinate equipment repairs as needed.
● Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and stocked with necessary equipment and supplies for emergency response.

Qualifications:

In addition to the requirements mentioned above, ideal candidates will possess:
● Legal authorization to work in Canada.
● Ability to respond to emergency calls with a 1-2 hour response time.
● Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, specifically a valid Ontario Driver's
License (G or G2).
● Experience in restoration or related fields.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Good skills in both written and spoken English communication.
Schedule:
● Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
● On-call rotation (approximately once a month).
● Flexibility is required for extended hours during emergencies, which may include
evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the opportunity for bonus pay and overtime
compensation.
