Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

As a General Laborer at Restoration Aid, you will:

● Efficiently load vehicles with essential supplies and equipment, ensuring preparedness for
daily challenges.
● Expertly set up and prepare equipment and tools on the job site, contributing to a
seamless work environment.
● Execute a range of tasks, including water extraction, precise drywall cutting, meticulous
flooring removal, efficient debris disposal, expert containment setup, thorough cleaning
of affected areas, and content manipulation, all in adherence to specific restoration
project requirements.
● Collect and secure equipment from job sites with the utmost care and professionalism.
● Showcase your commitment by promptly responding to emergency calls, boasting an
impressive 1-2 hour response time. You will also actively participate in on-call rotations
as needed.
● Uphold our dedication to safety by maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace,
ensuring systematic storage of equipment and supplies, and impeccable organization of
our warehouse/office space.
● Contribute to maintaining impeccable equipment standards by assisting with their
thorough cleaning upon return from job sites.
● Ensure our vehicles are consistently in prime condition, impeccably clean, and stocked
with the necessary equipment, supplies, and forms for rapid response to emergency
assignments.
 
Qualifications:

In addition to the requirements mentioned above, ideal candidates will possess:

● Legal authorization to work in Canada.
● A valid Ontario Driver's License (G or G2).
● Good skills in both written and spoken English communication.
● The physical capability to confidently climb ladders up to 20 feet high.
● The ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs with ease.
● Prior experience in construction site work and/or janitorial roles is a valuable asset.
● Must possess the attitude and eagerness for fast learning.
Schedule:
● Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
● On-call rotation (approximately once a month).
● Opportunity for bonus pay and overtime pay.
