Responsibilities:
- Support Program Manager and Coordinator(s) in developing, implementing, and facilitating variety of virtual and in-person social and recreational programs
- Help Program Coordinator(s) identify seniors’ needs for cultural, educational, recreational and social activities
- Create program descriptions, schedules, and promotional content including social media posts, flyers, brochures, and slide decks to assist with presentation of SALC programs
- Assist with program requirements, including outreach, promotion, and participant registration
- Gather and input program data to maintain accurate records • Performs other administrative related duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:
- Currently enrolled in a Community Service Worker, Social Service Worker or Community Worker Program and requiring placement hours.
- Experience working with senior population
- Demonstrate competent computer skills
Shift hours:
- At least 3 days/week, 25 hours/week
Commitment:
- 3-month minimum commitment
