Employment Services is a dynamic and result-oriented program within CPU that offers a range of resources, support, and services to respond to job seekers’ employment needs and employers’ hiring demands. Employment Services aims to help Ontarians find sustainable employment by connecting them to gainful employment opportunities and guiding individuals on a path to higher skills and training to achieve their career goals.
Responsibilities:
- This position will work with the Employment Services Team to provide support to Assisted Clients to prepare and perform interview skills to meet their job search needs.
- Provide one on one assistance to Job Seekers registered with WoodGreen’s Employment Services in preparing for interviews for job search activities
- Conduct mock job interviews for client’s base on client interest & using resources provided by WoodGreen
- Record interview activities to be able to provide constructive feedback on performance to client and Job Coach to help assess readiness to participate in interviews with prospective employers
- Aid clients by providing excellent customer service in an engaging & supportive environment
- Provide information about WoodGreen’s programs and services as well as direct any relevant inquiries back to the appropriate WoodGreen Staff and/or Job Coach
- Assist in scheduling appointments with Staff and/or for Workshops or Information Sessions as needed
- Maintain visitor Privacy, Confidentiality & adhering to Agency Policies

Shift Hours:
- Weekdays flexible scheduling virtual for 815 Danforth Ave.
- Weekdays flexible scheduling in-person at 2930 Lake Shore Blvd
- Weekdays flexible scheduling in-person at 1533 Victoria Park Ave.
Commitment:
- 15-20 hours per week 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 815 Danforth Ave.
- 3 shifts per week at 2930 Lake Shore Blvd Please indicate the location where you are interested in volunteering.
- 1, 2 or 3 days per week 4 – 5 hours per day. at 1533 Victoria Park Ave.
