Responsibilities:
- Identify resident’s needs for cultural, educational, recreational and social activities In conjunction with the Program Coordinator, you will
- Support the development and implementation of a variety of social and recreational activities meeting the needs of the community
- Ensure the recreation program is operating safely
- Conduct ongoing inventory and inform the Program Lead of supplies needed during the program
- Assist with program requirements including, outreach and participants registration
- Gather data, maintain accurate records
What You Bring to the Team:
- Currently enrolled in a Community Service Worker, Social Service Worker, Community Worker or Recreational Therapy Program and requiring placement hours.
- Experience working with senior population
- Demonstrate competent computer skills
Shift hours:
- At least 2 days/week, 7 hours/day
Commitment:
- 4-month minimum commitment
Location:
- WoodGreen location, at 266 Donlands Ave., East Toronto
