About the position


  • Identify resident’s needs for cultural, educational, recreational and social activities In conjunction with the Program Coordinator, you will
  • Support the development and implementation of a variety of social and recreational activities meeting the needs of the community
  • Ensure the recreation program is operating safely
  • Conduct ongoing inventory and inform the Program Lead of supplies needed during the program
  • Assist with program requirements including, outreach and participants registration
  • Gather data, maintain accurate records


What You Bring to the Team:

  • Currently enrolled in a Community Service Worker, Social Service Worker, Community Worker or Recreational Therapy Program and requiring placement hours.
  • Experience working with senior population
  • Demonstrate competent computer skills



Shift hours:

  • At least 2 days/week, 7 hours/day



  • 4-month minimum commitment




  • WoodGreen location, at 266 Donlands Ave., East Toronto
