Sisters in Action
The Sisters in Action program provides guidance to young Muslim women aged 15 to 24 living in Toronto area, and provides a range of social and recreation opportunities to build a social network and increase their understanding of bridging Canadian and Muslim cultures.
The goal of the Sisters in Action program is to create opportunities for young Muslim women to share ideas, feel empowered and self-confident and learn and practice leadership skills in a safe environment through volunteer opportunities, recreational activities, sports and much more.
WoodGreen works with Newcomer youth (age 13 – 24) to give them a greater sense of belonging in their new Canadian home.

We provide opportunities to visit places of interest in GTA at low or no cost and connect with the community. This includes participation in trips, cultural and sports events and activities, and visits to universities and schools.
