Our Rooming House Emergency Relocation Project provides emergency response and assistance to tenants involved in a rooming house emergency. Our Rooming House worker responds to emergencies following the initial 72 hours of an emergency (the Red Cross responds and provides support to tenants involved in rooming house emergencies within the first 72 hours). We provide assistance with storage of belongings, housing searches, advocacy with income supports and legal issues, food cards, TTC transportation assistance and provide ongoing follow up until all tenants are successfully rehoused.

We provide emergency response, assistance and relocation help to tenants involved in in rooming house emergencies (fires, sudden closure, urgent hazards)

Emergency assistance is available to any tenant involved in a rooming house emergency in the City of Toronto
