Volunteer opportunities are offered to High School students to enable them to
complete their required community service and to encourage active participation
in the community. Students must be 14 years or older.

Are you a Boomer with some time to give? We are
looking for big picture thinkers and people who have ability to lead a group of
people, set goals and meet those goals. We need volunteers to lead committees,
plan programs with staff and lead other volunteers. Help provide direction on
setting up a project, lead, execute, evaluate and make recommendations for
the future.

Newcomers can gain valuable Canadian workplace experience by becoming part of the
Newcomer Volunteer Program. Volunteers can get involved in providing clerical support,
setting up programs, promoting workshops and more.

WoodGreen's new Community Access-ability project provides volunteer opportunities to
individuals who have a range of developmental disabilities and special needs. We are
currently seeking volunteers who:
- live with a developmental disability and other special needs
- are 16 years of age or older, and not currently in a program
- are available on a weekly basis
- demonstrate good social skills in a group
This special project is funded by the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of
Citizenship and Immigration.
