Every year, WoodGreen makes opportunities for 37,000 clients, but we couldn`t do it without the dedication of our more than 1,000 volunteers.

So, come out and give us a try! WoodGreen volunteers are all ages and from every walk of life – from students to grandparents, from new immigrants to individuals with special needs. You can give as little or as much time as you want, and our volunteer program will match your skills and interests to a role that`s just right for you. Here`s a sample of what volunteers are involved with at WoodGreen: 

• supporting fundraising and community events 
• delivering meals to seniors or making friendly visits to their homes 
• working with children in after-school programs, homework clubs, or arts and crafts programs 
• serving as an interpreter or helping newcomers adjust to life in Canada 
• providing administrative or IT support 
• acting as hosts to help new immigrants make a smooth transition into Canadian life
