Service: 4 Month Office Admin Training/Job Prep Computer Course

ICDL stands for International Computer Driving License, which is an internationally recognized computer certification for Microsoft Office 2013. WoodGreen’s program for Ontario Works clients bundles ICDL with other skills training designed to build workplace knowledge and computer literacy skills of participants with the goal of getting them employed in positions such as Clerical/Reception/Administrative/Records Management/Customer Service/Support. The program provides participants with improved employability in entry level positions through the provision of four major components followed by entry into the Employment Placement program. Clients will receive an ICDL certificate upon successful completion of the training.

PROGRAM TYPE:
Computer Training

PROGRAM RESTRICTIONS:
Clients with previous Admin/Customer Service or related experience who have been out of the workforce for a period of time and need upgraded computer skills in order to be competitive in the job market.
Motivated and committed to following through with program and subsequent placement; willing to sign Participation Commitment Agreement;
No more than five years out of the labour market;
Daycare arrangements in place, where relevant;
Proficiency in English
Minimum 30wpm typing speed

DESCRIPTOR:
